Description

Stylish ribbed sweater with embroidery.

Material: 60% cotton, 25% cashmere, 5% wool, 10% elastane.

Materials

Cotton (60%)

Cotton is currently the most popular natural fiber. Cotton fabrics and clothing are characterized by durability, breathability and do not irritate the skin. It often occurs in admixture with synthetic materials that add flexibility to it (eg elastane).

Cashmere (25%)

Cashmere is a type of wool that comes from the Cashmere goat. The goats are native to the Kashmir region, which is why it is named after this area. The wool from these animals is very soft and has a lot of insulation, making it ideal for making clothing items such as sweaters and scarves. The reason that cashmere is so expensive is because it takes a lot of work to harvest the wool. Each goat only produces a small amount each year, and it takes about two goats to make one sweater. In addition, the process of harvesting the wool is very labor-intensive. Workers must carefully comb out the cashmere fibers by hand in order to avoid damaging them. All of this makes cashmere a luxurious fabric that is often associated with wealth and sophistication. Many people consider cashmere worth the investment due to its beauty and durability. It is also much less likely to pill or itch than other types of wool. The finest cashmere fibers are only about 12 microns in diameter. In comparison, human hair is about 100 microns in diameter. That means that cashmere is eight times finer than human hair! The resulting fabric is incredibly soft and smooth, with a luxurious feel that is often compared to silk. Despite its high quality, cashmere is actually quite affordable. It is more durable than many other natural fibers, so it will last longer if properly cared for. And because it insulates so well, you'll stay warmer in a cashmere sweater than one made from any other material - without having to layer up as much. That makes it perfect for travel since you can pack fewer clothes yet still stay comfortable no matter the temperature outside. So what are the advantages of cashmere? First and foremost, it's incredibly soft and smooth next to your skin - like wearing a cloud! It's also very lightweight yet provides excellent warmth thanks to its ability to trap heat close to your body without being bulky or constricting like some heavier fabrics can be. Additionally, cashmereisn't prone to pilling or itching like other wools can be (including sheep's wool), making it far more comfortable to wear against delicate skin.. Finally, this natural fiber breathes well too - helping regulate your body temperature even when worn in layers - so you won't overheat or start feeling clammy the way you might with synthetic materials.

Elastan (10%)

Elastane is a synthetic material that gives your clothes flexibility and elasticity. Thanks to the elastane, the clothes hold their shape and do not pull out so easily. Clothing with elastane easily adapts to the shape of your body. Elastane also appears on the market under various trade names, such as Lycra or Spandex.

Wool (5%)

Wool is an animal fiber that can be spun into yarn or fabric. It is most commonly associated with sheep’s wool, but can be also wool from other animals. Wool has many benefits over other fibers. It is warm, absorbent, fire-resistant, durable and clothing produce from wool is odorless. The use of wool dates back to the Stone Age, when early humans first began domesticating sheep. Sheep were originally bred for their meat and milk, but early humans quickly realized that their fleece could be used to make clothing and blankets. The use of wool spread throughout the world as different cultures developed their own methods of spinning and weaving it into fabric. Today, wool is still widely used in a variety of applications. It is commonly used in winter clothing because it insulates against cold weather better than any other fiber. Woolen fabrics are also popular for suits, slacks, coats, and dresses due to their wrinkle-resistance and durability.
