Merino wool can absorb moisture up to 30% of its volume. The moisture is easily heated in the wool, so there is no unpleasant, cool feeling when sweating. Thanks to its antibacterial properties, bacteria cannot easily multiply on wool fiber, so merino wool clothing does not smell even when worn for a long time. Thanks to these properties, merino wool is an excellent natural material used, for example, for socks, warm underwear, winter sweaters and wool scarves.
