Today, it is most often made of cotton and man-made fibers, but slowly the textile industry is beginning to return to the original materials, such as flax or hemp. For many thousands of years, the canvas was the only fabric available to sew clothing.

Water resistant material

Product made of water resistant material. It is a material that can withstand normal rain or unexpected impact by water. However, with prolonged rain or direct soaking in water, this material begins to let water through. This is the main difference between water resistant and waterproof material. Waterproof material keeps us dry even during a tropical storm and after soaking in water the material does not let water through. In order for a material to be marked as waterproof, it must withstand at least 2000 mm of water according to the standard.

Advantages of water resistant material:

• the material usually has a special surface treatment to which dirt adheres less
